Ok firstly winamp remote I couldn’t get working.

I’ll try out this other server when I get the details called hathaway or something to that effect.

Winamp remote is shit so don’t bother with it.

Regarding a question left on the comments section of the journal yes the keyboard works with native windows drivers and the setpoint software simply allows you to customize your keyboard’s special functions.

It can be run without the setpoint software.

Other then this nothing else to report today.

Will try out this other server and let you all know how it goes.

Winamp 5.3

Posted in Technology Related, and Uncategorized

Ok i’ve now reinstalled the newest winamp v5.3.
Was having heaps of problems where winamp would take ages to startup. I’ve turned off some of the media library functions such as history and what’s now playing.

I’m going to try out the new winamp remote feature tomorrow after work and we’ll see how accessable it is and if you can play your mp3 files remotely.

In other news the keyboard arrived today the new logitech mx 3000 laser cordless desktop keyboard.

Very nice keyboard and it has an awesome key just on the left hand edge when pressed it closes the currently open window.
Man it’s nice no more pressing alt f4 this key does it all.

Also there’s a beautiful scroll wheel on the left hand side. Nice keyboard overall and i’ll give it 10 out of 10.
The setpoint software is accessable and I recommend this keyboard to anyone.

The price was $140.80 from
Eyo Website.

Take a look there site is great and they deliver next day if they have stock.

That’s about it for now. I’ll report on winamp remote tomorrow.

A fantastic Lunch Today

Posted in Food Related, and Uncategorized

Ok today we went out for lunch to a place in Windsor called Fransiscos.
Nothing to do with sisco but a nice lunch never the less.

I had the seafood buffay for $25.00 for as much as you can eat.
There were fantastic items such as salads, meat more meat, muscles, oisters, calamary rings chips fish and much much more.

I knocked off 3 plates of mains followed by trifle for desert or is that dessert?
Same fucking spelling but a different meaning.

Perhaps someone like Gemma from the west could explain the spellings of desert and dessert?

Overall a nice day and it was well worth the trip.

In other news I installed the trial version of fsecure internet security 2007.

I must say so far i’m disappointed with what i’ve seen but maybe things will improve after playing with it a bit more.

Aaron, you seem to know a lot about this program. Any chance of some tips pointers or keyboard shortcuts mate?

That’s about all for now.

Will write more tomorrow or later on tonight.

R P A returns

Excellent medical show if you like that kind of thing and i’ll definently be watching.

Not much else to report today besides the fact we had ronnies pizza for dinner. Very nice pizza and I recommend it to anyone in the Penrith Area.

Will report tomorrow with more news.

Cheers.

Also just out of interest if anyone knows of a store where you can buy some storage racks cabinets or ways to store cd’s, please let me know.

New watches have arrived

Posted in Technology Related, and Uncategorized

Ok all the new watches that I finally ordered a little over a week ago have arrived.
At first I thought the watches were both fucked due to the fact when I was pressing the mode button to set the time date etc, the fucken basted wouldn’t do anything.
I then thought fuck maybe i’ll hold the button for 3 seconds and sure enough this worked.

You can get more info on the w20 gents watch from
cobolt systems website

Take a look at this watch and i’ll be interested in your comments.
The watch cost 49.95 pounds.

Excellent buy with an expanding band and it’s an absolutely fucking corker of a watch.

Update and new cordless Keyboard

Posted in Technology Related, and Uncategorized

Ok all it’s been a few weeks since I have typed in this journal.

I’ve just finally gotten round to setting up the Logitech cordless lx 300 keyboard and mouse.
Man oh man this keyboard is an absolute pleasure to use.
Very easy to setup simply connect the usb reciever to a spare usb port and install the software which you can get from
http://www.logitech.com/

This particular model is old I think by a year or so but there are newer Logitech keyboards out there.

The logitech software used to cause all kinds of grief to screen readers.
So far with window eyes it’s perfect.

My only complaint is there is only 1 windows key on the left hand side of the keyboard.

see you all tomorrow with more news.
