The weekend of life

Ok it’s almost the weekend of life.
I’m looking so forward to it.
Am going over to Murray’s home for some fish and chips and to catch up with an old friend Anthony who should be commended for his efforts.
Also we’re having end of financial year drinks tomorrow so bring on the dancing blonds with no tops thanks.

Also recieved my new digital recorder Tuesday.
It’s fantastic and i’m really looking forward to testing it out on Saturday with Murray.

Not much else to report so will report live from the event saturday.
I know I was going to be reporting live before but got too hungry and decided not to bother.

A great weekend so far

Ok this weekend is a great weekend.

I’m extreemly pleased that my Uncle has finally joined the digital revolution by purchasing a laptop.
He bought a Toshiba a80-zoo and it’s fantastic.
Also in other news, we’re having fish and chips tonight at Murray’s home and we’re going to sit down and discuss the podcast we’ll be starting shortly.
My new digital recorder I bought through sony Central should be arriving tomorrow hopefully.
Other then this, not much else to report.

Will be back during the fish and chips for a live report of the rustling of the paper bag.

Fucking noc team

Right firstly I want to know and to know right now why don’t the noc care about the helpdesk?
they think there high and mighty and don’t give a fuck about us hd guys who only want to help our customer’s and solve there problems.

3 times now helpdesk guys have asked for an update on a particular issue with no response forth coming.
I have no idea what’s going on but for fuck sake, i’m really going to lose my temper if this shit goes on for much longer.
It’s getting bad to worse and if anyone doesn’t like this post then stop reading right now.
It’s my journal, my life and i’ll write what I want to right in this fine journal.

It’s been going for over a year now and i’m so impressed with it, I may even burn it to cd for safe keeping.

Networking have no idea how to even communicate with the helpdesk and never will.

So much for that fucking interaction guide a lot of good that did.
Basically it did fuck all and hasn’t helpt one little fucking bit.

I’m going to grab some food and comtemplate my very bleak unfortunate future.

Fuck the noc fuck documentation and fuck chocolate bullets useless chocolate pieces of shit.

Fuck whoever invented chocolate bullets should be carstrated right now and burnt out the back of the fucking bondie leagues club.

The weekend almost here

Ok the weekend is almost here and i’m looking forward to the pizza company and friends over the next couple of days.
Tomorrow night i’m going to Murray’s for dinner and Sunday we’ll be heading to Mike’s for some fun beer and ribs.
Will report more in the next day or so and will report after getting home from Murray’s tomorrow night.

Not sure what we’re having for dinner tonight but hopefully it’s something good like pancakes or something like that.

Deep Fried Ice cream

Ok last night I finally after waiting for months finally got to try deep ried ice cream.
Very tasty and I would only eat it once every 6 months or so but definently recommended.

Also i’ve joined the calone revolution and thanks to Phillips it’s the best thing I ever did.

I’ll have the house to myself this weekend so will have a great time eating pizza listening to the football and chilling out.

Also Friday night, am having dinner with my good friend Murray and we’re having fish and chips.

Not much else to report today so will catch you all tomorrow.

Mick a fine human specemen

righto I firstly wanna thank Mick for his contribution to the hd’s morning tea today.
An Absolute legend buying doughnuts for everyone and we all enjoyed them immensly.
I think next time I’ll shout the hd or better still Nathan can shout seen’s he’s the team leader here.

I’ll buy doughnuts and all kinds 40 dollars worth may as well enjoy them.

I also wanna thank Daniel for collecting my food for me a fine human being and he should be commended along with Phillips and Iscov.
Can’t spell bobbies last name so he doesn’t get a mention seen’s he chooses to pick an extreenmly diffficult sirname.
Only kidding Bobby or bobbie how the fuck do ya spell your name bobbie?
Fuck i’ll just call you Bob it’s easier to type and it’s all good.

I also wanna thank Pete for his Pizza contribution or for collecting the pizza last friday.

It’s a fucking pity the dudes left off the anjovies.
We were so pissed but ate the pizza’s anyway.

Nathan my friend, all I can say to you mate is give up the fags mate.

They’ll get to ya one day and you’ll wonder why you didn’t listen to the wisest hd guy around meaning me.

Ribs for dinner how cool

Ok tonight was one of the greatest dinners i’ve had in months.

Honey style ribbs and chips and salad.
Absolutely a top effort from Mum highly recommended by me.

Definently will have to do the ribs again.

Also today work was not too bad for a change. The callers were reasonable and for once, I can’t complain about any of them except for one guy who kept asking how to open internet explorer.

Will be back tomorrow with more good shit so stay tuned for a big announcement later on this week or early next week.

Luckily we have the long weekend to work out this new announcement buso.

Reply from a skype moderator

Ok I’ve recieved a reply from a skhype moderator regarding access to the call menu in skype.

The more blind people who post there annoyances in the skype support forum, the better for all concerned.
Here’s the reply.

Hi there!
Chris Westbrook (a blind Skype user who recently made a post here about this issue),
an unnamed Skype staffer and I recently had a discussion about this. This issue is
definitely known and I’m sure Skype will recognize and fix it. Again, this is a BETA
and the Skype staff appreciate any and all feedback to try to make it better.
My suggestion to them was to make an “Accessible Mode” where the API as well as the
Skype client does everything without the eye-candy and better strings for text readers
such as Jaws to be able to read properly and maximize usability for disabled users.

Skype 1.3.29 beta a step backwards

Ok all.

I’ve taken it apon myself to write to the skype develpers expressing my sincere dissatisfaction with the newest skype beta and how the call menu has been taken away from us blind folks.

Here’s the email I posted to them below and i’ll keep you all informed on the progress of this very important issue.

Hi There.

Firstly i’d like to express my dissatisfaction with the latest beta 1.3.29 of skype.

I’m extreemly disappointed at the fact you have removed access to calling online contacts via the callmenu under alt c in skype.

Why are you guys taking away important functionality for blind users who use your produtt on a daily basis?
I know the eye candy is pretty and looks good for those with sight but taking away important features such as calling people via the call menu in my oppinion is a step backward.

Please can I urge you to put back the call menu as it is currently in version 1.2.48 and don’t make changes like these without consulting with us first?
I can’t understand why you would even think of removing the call menu and make your product harder for us blind folks to use.

I would appreciate a reply to my concerns listed above and I look forward to hearing from you asap.
